$500 Travel Scholarship toward an EF Tour: https://www.eftours.com/ This travel scholarship from EF can be used on any of the World History Travel Club trips that take place during the summer of each year. I started the World History Travel Club around nine years ago to enhance the world history curriculum at Centennial High School and give students a chance to live history and experience the culture of people from all over the world. Past trips have included themes and locations such as World War 2 (England, France, Belgium, and Germany), Roman Conquest (Spain, France, Monaco, and Italy), Greek Odyssey (Greece and the Greek Islands), Australia and New Zealand, Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands, and Cambodia, Thailand, and Vietnam. For the summer of 2024 we are going to Italy and Greece on an Adriatic Odyssey, and in 2025 we have an itinerary to Peru to see Machu Picchu, the Amazon Rain Forest, Lima, and Cuzco. For the summer of 2026, the proposed itinerary will be Islands of the South Pacific, which would include stops in the Cook Islands, New Zealand, and Fiji. Beyond that, I will always be finding new destinations and visiting old ones, as well as getting feedback from students as to what interests them. The travel scholarship you are bidding on can be used by students who are already enrolled on the Peru 2025 trip. In addition, it could be used for future trips in 2026 and beyond. This scholarship would take $500 off your payment price. The trips are open for all students who are in 9th through 11th grade at the time of travel.
A note from Centennial Area Education Foundation: CAEF supports education-based community programs in the Centennial district area for over 6,000 students in the communities of Blaine, Circle Pines, Centerville, Lexington, and Lino Lakes. In the last year alone, CAEF awarded more than $100,000 to teachers and graduates.
